Work more on research than publicity on proposed Ram Temple in Madi: Prachanda



CHITWAN: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has said that there has been more publicity than research on the construction of Ram Temple in Madi.

Speaking at a program in Madi, proposed Ayodhya area, Prachanda said that the work should be realistic, not propaganda-oriented.

He further stated that it was untrue that communists did not believe in religion adding that he would wholeheartedly support in this regard after he joined the government.

Saying that the issue of constructing a Ram Temple in Madi was a sensitive issue, Prachanda said that he would hold serious discussions with archaeologists.

A Ram Temple is being set up in Madi-9 of Krishnapur on the day of Ram Nawami.

Statues of Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman are being brought from Kathmandu.
