Home Minister Thapa to be sworn-in today



KATHMANDU: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa “Badal”, who lost both his ministerial post after losing the National Assembly (NA) seat will be sworn-in today itself, Baluwatar sources have said.

He had lost the post of a minister after the Parliament Secretariat issued a notice n Sunday morning saying that Thapa was no longer a lawmaker in the National Assembly.

The CPN Maoist Center had on April 9 sent a letter to the Federal Parliament Secretariat informing that the party has expelled him.

Home Minister Thapa was elected to the National Assembly from Bagmati Province.
