Banke records 3 COVID-19 related deaths

BANKE: Three people have succumbed to coronavirus at Bheri Hospital in Banke district last night.

The District Crisis Management Committee, Banke informed that three people infected with coronavirus died while undergoing treatment at the Corona Special Ward of Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj.

A 73-year-old man of Rajapur municipality-1, Bardia died at 7:00 pm on Saturday, and 40 minutes later 78-year-old woman from Baijanath rural municipality-8, Banke died.

The third victim is a 68-year-old woman from Narayan municipality-1 in Dailekh, who died at 9:30 pm, according to Corona focal person at the District Crisis Management Committee Tej Oli.

She was admitted to the hospital on April 13 after being diagnosed with coronavirus.

As many as 96 people, including 60 from the Banke, have succumbed to coronavirus in the district so far.
