Nepse increases by 42.95 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has increased by 42.95 points Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With the increment, the index has closed at 2475.09 points.

A total of 11,657,975 shares worth Rs 4.66 billion were traded Thursday.

The highest number of 2,226,220 shares of Nepal Bank Limited was bought and sold, according to Nepse. The bank’s last traded price was Rs 349 per share.

Since then, 516,250 shares of Sunrise First Mutual Fund have been traded with a final trading price of Rs 12.8 per share.

Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA), which is in third place, had a turnover of 48,478 shares. NIFRA last transaction stood at Rs 525 per share.

Shares of Chandragiri Hills, Greenlife Hydropower, United IDI RB Hydropower, and Nepal Bangladesh Bank traded at the positive circuit level.

The share price of Chandragiri, which was traded at a positive circuit level for the 16th consecutive day, has reached Rs 1,292.
