Leadership receiving suggestions in Nepal-Khanal national conclave

KATHMANDU: The different groups divided in the national gathering of the CPN-UML Nepal-Khanal faction ended their discussions and have started submitting reports to the leadership in Sanepa Thursday.

According to group leaders, reports submitted contain various suggestions related to the party and government.

The suggestions include toppling UML Chair and Prime Minister KP Oli-led government as they thought the Oli faction had misused state coffers and resources, and dealt a blow to the momentum of the communist movement in the country.

Group discussions also suggested that leaders and cadres should be prepared to unify with the CPN (Maoist Center) in order to strengthen the bloc’s agitation against PM Oli, among others.

The leadership will go through the suggestions received from different groups and conclude the assembly today.

The much-talked-about two-day national conclave began in Sanepa Wednesday.
