Prachanda-Nepal faction instructs central members to assembly at Peris Danda on Friday

KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has instructed its central members to assemble at the party office in Peris Danda with their citizenship on Friday noon.

All central members of the faction have been instructed to assemble at the party office on Friday noon, a leader said without elaborating.

However, sources claims that the central members of the Prachanda-Nepal faction are going to the Election Commission on Friday to put pressure on the EC to decide the dispute surrounding the NCP’s election symbol and its authenticity.

“It is likely that the central members will head toward the EC from there (Peris Danda),” a leader said.

The EC is yet to resolve the NCP.
