Kathmandu Valley sees 42 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 42 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 30 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 3 in Bhaktapur, and 9 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 96 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,73,166 in the country as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 1,603 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 111 from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,505 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, three more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,058.
