Petrol, diesel prices hiked by Rs 2 per liter



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene.

The price has been increased by Rs two per liter with effect from Monday midnight, said NOC Spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyaya.

With the price hike, the price of petrol in the Kathmandu Valley will now be Rs 110 per liter and the prices of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 93 per liter.

The prices of the Aviation Turbine Fuel and LP gas have been kept unchanged at present.

Even after the price adjustment, there is a loss of Rs 5.34 per liter on petrol and Rs 2.96 per liter on diesel, according to the corporation.

Similarly, NOC said it has been making a loss of Rs 134 per cylinder in LP gas.
