3 killed, 1 injured in Solukhumbu road mishap



SOLU: Three people have died and one sustained critical injuries in a bus accident that occurred at Mahadev cliff bordering Solu Dudhkunda municipality and Necha Salyan rural municipality.

The deceased have been identified as bus driver 33-year-old Kamal Magar of Dhading, Raj Kumar Magar, 33, of Hetauda and Krishna Chaudhari, 19, of Saptari, said Police Inspector Anil Mabohang of Solukhumbu District Police Office.

Similarly, 23-year-old Ramesh Magar has sustained critical injuries. He is undergoing treatment at district hospital Phaplu.

The accident took place when an Eicher bus, Ba 4 Kha 7980, ferrying construction materials for Dhudhkoshi Solukhola hydropower project (86 megawatt) from the site of Solu hydropower project veered off and fell some 300 meter down the road at 11:30 pm on Sunday.
