NTC to provide telecom, broadband internet service to local govt offices



KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NTC) will provide telecom and broadband internet service to all government offices at local levels across the country.

To this effect, an agreement has been reached between Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration Dr Gobinda Krishna Khanal and the NTC general director Dilliram Adhikari.

As per the agreement, government offices at local levels including ward offices, health offices and community schools will be provided with the service.

The Ministry will provide necessary facilitation and coordinate with local levels and the NTC to collect data of beneficiaries and implement the project, said the NTC Spokesperson Rajesh Joshi.
