Boxing has a good potential: PM Deuba



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that there is good potential for boxing sport in Nepal.

During a meeting with International Boxing Federation (IBA) President Omar Kramlev this evening, Prime Minister Deuba expressed his commitment to extend all possible support from the government for the promotion of the game with huge potential.

According to Pushparaj Pant, central member of the Nepal Boxing Association, a six-member team arrived in Nepal at the invitation of the association. During the meeting, IBA President Omar said that Nepali boxers have the ability to perform well while expressing his commitment to support the sport and the players as much as possible.

Omar’s team will stay in Nepal for three days.
