Necessary to develop, promote religious and tourism sites: Chair Nepal

DOTI: Chairperson of CPN-Unified Socialist, Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said that religious and tourism sites of Sudurpaschim Province should be developed and promoted in order to recognize it in the world.

Chair Nepal, who arrived Doti on Wednesday to attend the popular Badikedar fair of Sudurpaschim Province, shared that it was necessary to protect and further develop different religious and tourism sites of the Province to make the sites recognized in the country and abroad. He also stressed the need of establishing a tourism museum in the district so that all the major tourism sites of the district could be seen in one place.

Also former Prime Minister, Nepal said that though the government under his leadership had forwarded a concept of establishing a religious museum giving a glimpse of all religious sites, the issue did not get priority after he left the government.

Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, stressed the need of protecting old religious art and culture in order to save our culture and to make new generation known about it. He added, “The Culture Ministry will fully support to protect religious art and culture.”
