UML Vice Chairman Rawal’s faction calls parallel representatives’ meeting

DHANGADHI: Dispute within the CPN-UML has surfaced in Dhangadhi-Kailali after party Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal decided to hold a parallel meeting of the general convention delegates.

Due to the dispute between party Chairman KP Oli and Rawal, the latter rejected the general convention representative picked by the establishment faction in Kailali Constituency No. 2.

Mahadev Bajgain, Mayor of Kailali’s Lamkichuha municipality and a member of the UML’s state committee, has called a meeting to elect general convention delegates on Wednesday.

He has posted on Facebook that the gathering was organized at Manohara Hotel in Lamki, Kailali.
