AIBA president Kremlev in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: International Boxing Association (AIBA) president Umar Kremlev has arrived in Kathmandu today.

A six-member team of AIBA including Kremlev arrived here at the invitation of the Nepal Boxing Association (NBA).

NBA officials, including its president Ram Awale, senior vice-president Arjun KC welcomed the team at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

AIBA president said the Nepali boxers are strong and capable of giving the best performance. He pledged to extend whatever support he can from his side for the promotion of boxing in Nepal.

The AIBA team has come for a three-day visit to Nepal, the NBA stated.
