Two Nepalis held with valuables stolen from India



KANCHANPUR: Two Nepali nationals who fled to Nepal with ornaments and cash stolen from India have landed in a police net.

Nepal Police arrested them from the house of Lal Bahadur Shahi in Belauri municipality-1, Kanchanpur with the help of Armed Police Force on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad raided Shahi’s house and recovered the ornaments and the cash stolen from Bangalore of India.

Lal Bahadur Shahi, 38, of Belauri municipality-1 and Bishnu Shahi, 35, of Chisapani, Kailali were arrested in this connection.
