CPN-Unified Socialist gives full shape to party’s central bodies

335-member Central Committee; 42-member Standing Committee and 94-member Politburo



KATHMANDU: The CPN-Unified Socialist has given full shape to its 335-member Central Committee and other central bodies.

According to the inter-party directive issued by Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday, the division of responsibilities has completed with the expansion of the Central Committee, Standing Committee and Politburo.

The Unified Socialist Party has recognized senior leader Jhala Nath Khanal as an honorable leader and entrusted him with the responsibility of leading the foreign affairs department of the party.

Likewise, Mukunda Neupane and Pradip Nepal are party leaders. Neupane is the head of industry and commerce department and Nepal is in-charge of memorials and academic establishments.

The Unified Socialist has a 42-member Standing Committee and a 94-member Politburo.
