UML attacking state organs to dissolve parliament and push country to mid-term polls: Rastriya Janamorcha

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Janamorcha has accused that the CPN-UML was relentlessly attacking state organs to dissolve the reinstated parliament and push the country into mid-term elections.

Issuing a press statement on Friday, Janamorcha Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC accused the UML of attacking the Election Commission, the government and the Speaker with an aim of dismantling the existing parliament and pushing the country towards mid-term polls.

Stating that various plots were being hatched to break the five-party alliance and push the country backward, KC stressed the need for a continuous struggle against regression. “The need for a struggle against regression remains. For that, the five-party alliance needed to be further strengthened,” the statement read.

The party made it clear that it was supporting the government due to its stance of opposing regression, and did not necessarily believe that the current government will be able to solve all problems of the people and the country.
