KATHMANDU: Outgoing Governor of Province 2 Dr. Rajesh Jha Ahiraj has said that Province 2 has strong sentiments of patriotism.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Dr. Ahiraj reiterated the need to take special initiatives to boost Province 2’s peoples faith on the government and to make them feel proud of being Nepalis.
“Province 2 is highly patriotic. However, the province government needs to be serious about the issue of geographical inclusion and structural discrimination in relation to the population of the province,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, President Bidya Devi Bhandari thanked Dr. Ahiraj for his service to Province 2 during his term in office.
