Kathmandu valley sees 1,033 coronavirus cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu valley has witnessed 1,033 new cases of coronavirus in past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and population, Kathmandu got 673 new cases of coronavirus, Bhaktapur 141 and Lalitpur 219 of late.

The country recorded a total of 3,274 new cases of coronavirus while 1,929 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Out of the 11, 565 people who underwent tests through the RT-PCR method, 2,456 persons tested positive for COVID-19 while 818 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 27 infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours. With the recent death toll, total deaths caused due to COVID-19 reached 10,354 in the country.
