Madhav Nepal faction’s CC meeting underway



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee meeting of CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction is underway in New Baneswor.

Central members and lawmakers close to the Nepal faction are attending the meeting.

The faction led by senior leader Nepal has been engaged in internal discussions soon after Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s government issued an ordinance on party split.

Meanwhile, according to leader Metmani Chaudhary, they would also go to the Election Commission soon as soon as the President authenticates the ordinance.

The UML has currently 121 lawmakers in the House of Representatives.

Likewise, there are 34 members in the National Assembly.
