Two including news portal owner held with illegal drugs



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two people including a news portal proprietor with illegal drugs in Rautahat district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from District Police Office (DPO), Rautahat arrested M. Mojibullah of Ishnath Municipality-8 and Sheikh Gulab alias Sheikh Atiullah of Rajpur municipality-7 with 105 tablets of Nitravet. Mojibullah is the owner of a news portal operating from Rautahat.

They were arrested with the drugs during a security check behind the Rautahat District Court, said DSP Narayan Prasad Chimoriya of DPO, Rautahat.

Chimoriya said they are making preparations to charge them under Narcotic Drugs (Control) Act, 2033.
