Parbat section of Mid-Hill highway obstructed

PARBAT: The Parbat-Baglung section of the Mid-Hill highway has been obstructed due to landslides triggered by continuous rainfall.

Landslides that took place at Sahasradhara in ward no. 1 of Kusma municipality obstructed the road section since last night.

Though machines and security personnel are on stand-by to clear the debris and open the road for traffic, continuous rainfall has made it difficult to act immediately, said chief of the Traffic Police Office, Parbat Krishna Khadka.

As a result, vehicles that had left from Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang to various destinations remain stranded along with their passengers in Maldhunga of the highway.
