NC to continue oxygen concentrator distribution

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has said that it would continue its drive to distribute oxygen concentrators purchased with financial assistance from its leaders and cadres, and well-wishers to public health institutions.

The NC COVID-19 central monitoring committee has provided 50 oxygen concentrators to the district-based public hospitals.

In a statement today, the committee coordinator and party joint general secretary Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat pledged continuation of the oxygen concentrator distribution in the days to come while thanking party liaison committees in foreign countries for their help to purchase oxygen concentrators and other help to stem the infection.

Financial assistance to prevent and control the virus was pouring in, he informed. Party organizations, district committees, various sister organizations in the center, district, and local levels have actively involved in the prevention and control of the infection, he said.
