Govt calls for applications for awards



KATHMANDU: The government has called for applications for awards.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has published a notice seeking applications from those who are eligible for the awards.

The awards will be given away on the Constitution Day for those who have made a special contribution to the country and society .

Those willing to apply for awards can contact the respective district administration office (DAO) by July 4.

The Chief District Officer (CDO) will have to send the applications to the Ministry of Home Affairs by mid-July after screening the applications received in the district.

The recommendation committee at the Ministry of Home Affairs, then, will make a recommendation to the Council of Ministers for a decision on the award.

Every year on the Constitution Day, the government has been honoring those who have made a special contribution to the country and society with awards.
