NTD President Jit Jung Basnet in a circular to the Dal’s all district-level committees today directed them to help with rescue and relief efforts in coordination with security agencies and local levels.

Many people have been affected and displaced and properties worth thousands of rupees have been destroyed in flooding in various areas in Sindhupalchok, Lamjung, Manang, Myagdi, Kaski, Dang, Baglung, and Palpa districts.

“The NTD central committee has directed its district-level committees to join hands to make people alert against disasters and help with rescue and relief efforts after relocating human settlements at risk to safety,” read the circular.
