Police nab truck driver smuggling 65 kg marijuana



BIRGUNJ: Police have arrested a truck and its driver with 65 kg of marijuana being taken to India.

According to Janakpur Police, a joint team comprising police from Province Police Office Janakpur and District Police Office recovered the cannabis from Bagmati Pradesh 01-006 Kha 1828 truck parked at Birgunj Metropolitan City-18 Bhawanipur.

The police informed that truck driver Ram Kumar Moktan, 51, of Manhari-6, Makwanpur has been taken under control on allegation of trafficking marijuana.

Investigation is undergoing for the details, the police said.
