NAC aircraft bringing emergency medical supplies in critical hour

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), a national flag carrier, aircraft is continuously airlifting oxygen cylinders at this critical hour when the country is severely hit by the second wave of the COVID-19.

The NAC wide-body aircraft (A330) brought oxygen cylinders and other emergency medical supplies from China and Oman on Sunday and Monday.

According to NAC General Manager Dimprakash Poudel, the NAC aircrafts brought 975 sets of oxygen cylinders and 157 sets of oxygen concentrators recently. Similarly, the NAC is planning to bring more oxygen cylinders and other medical supplies with two additional flights.

Earlier, the NAC had brought 400 sets of oxygen cylinders and 10 sets of ventilators from China last week.

Similarly, NRNA China, Hongsi Group, Karuna Foundation, Chinese citizens had provided medical supplies to Nepal. RSS
