Chief Administrative Officer of Arjundhara Municipality dies of coronavirus



JHAPA: The Chief Administrative Office of Arjundhara Municipality has died of coronavirus infection on Monday.

According to sources, Mahendra Khamyahang, the chief administrative officer of Arjundhara Municipality in Jhapa, died while undergoing treatment against coronavirus pandemic at B&C Hospital in Birtamod.

He was admitted to hospital on May 12 after his health further deteriorated while at home.

Earlier, he had been in home isolation for about a week.
