Four more COVID-19 infected persons die in Butwal

BUTWAL: Four more coronavirus patients have died while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.

Two of the four died at the hospital’s emergency ward and two at the COVID-19 Hospital of Butwal Yarn Factory.

A 38-year-old man of Sainamina Municipality-1, who was admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital on May 16 after confirming coronavirus infection, died at 6.30 am on Monday, Dr Bishnu Gautam, Spokesperson at the hospital said.

Similarly, a 65-year-old woman of Siddharthnagar Municipality-13, who was admitted to the emergency ward on May 3 died at 6.45 am on Monday.

Similarly, a 77-year-old woman of Saina Maina-1, who was confirmed to have coronavirus infection on May 6, died at 1.35 pm on May 16. She was admitted to Covid-19 Temporary Hospital on May 13.

Similarly, a 56-year-old man from Butwal-3 who was diagnosed with coronavirus on May 11 was admitted to Corona Hospital in the afternoon of May 16 and died at 7.54 pm on the same day, said hospital spokesperson Gautam.

With this, the number of deaths due to coronavirus infection in Rupandehi has reached 355.
