Six more COVID-19 infected die in Biratnagar



MORANG: Six additional people have died from COVID-19 in the course of treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital and Birat Medical Teaching Hospital on Monday morning.

According to Anupam Rajbanshi, the information officer of COVID-19 Treatment Center of the hospital, a 55-year-old man of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-18 passed away in the course of treatment this morning.

He had been admitted to the hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on May 7.

Similarly, a 45-year-old man of Biratnagar-4, 62-year-old man of Inaruwa-1, Sunsari, 74-year-old man of Katari muninicipality-4, Udayapur, and two men aged 65 and 45 of Kanchanrup municipality, Saptari have died in the course of treatment, informed Narayan Dahal, the manager of Nobel Hospital.
