Four held with homemade guns in Khotang

KHOTANG: Four people have been arrested in Rajapani of Halesi-Tuvachung Municipality-11 in Khotang along with homemade guns and other materials used to make guns.

Among the arrested are Dambar Bahadur Karki, 42, Drona Karki, 35, Rabindra Karki, 26, and Krishna BK, 74.

A team including a police inspector from the District Police Office, Khotang arrested them on the basis of a tip-off at 10 last night.

Police said that Dambar, Dorna, and Rabindra were taken into custody along with three stuffed guns, a dead deer’s head, a scorpion’s head, and a matchstick, soda, sulfur, and shrapnel used in the stuffed gun.

Krishna, on the other hand, was taken under control with five loaded guns, one butt of a stuffed gun, and other tools used to make a stuffed gun.

Police said that further investigation is underway.
