Petrol price hiked by Rs 1 per liter



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs one per liter with effect from Saturday midnight.

The retail price of petrol in Kathmandu will be Rs 121 per liter after the price hike. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene will be Rs 104 per liter from tonight.

The price of aviation fuel for domestic market has also been increased by Rs 2 and will be Rs 76 per liter.

However, prices of aviation fuel for international flights and LPG remained unchanged, the corporation said.

The corporation adjusts the price on the 1st and 16th of the English month. The corporation has stated that the price of petrol has been increased as per the purchase price list received from Indian Oil Corporation on April 16.
