Prachanda snubs PM’s invite; meets leader Nepal in Koteshwor



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal held a meeting at a businessman’s house in Koteshwor Saturday morning.

According to Maoist Center sources, the meeting between Prachanda and Nepal took place the day after UML leader Nepal faction lawmakers voted for Karnali’s Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi violating the decision of party whip.

Both Prachanda and Nepal had abstained from Prime Minister KP Oli called all-party meeting Saturday in Baluwatar.

Prachanda and Nepal had a discussion for about an hour at the house of a businessman in Koteshwor.

Maoist center leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha was also present at the meeting.
