KATHMANDU: An all-party meeting is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The agenda of the meeting includes the latest political developments and discussions to end the winter session of the parliament, among other issues, according to PM’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa.

Despite urging all the political parties represented in the parliament to participate in the all-party meeting, the leaders of various parties have said that they will not participate in the meeting.

Meanwhile, the PM has also invited the CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to attend the all-party meeting.

CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has decided not to attend the all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday.

Stating that a meeting has been called at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Prachanda has decided to abstain from today’s all-party meeting.

According to a standing committee member close to Prachanda, if the meeting is held at Singha Durbar, Prachanda will participate.

Oli called Chairman Prachanda and invited him to the meeting. Prachanda had gone to inaugurate the newly constructed building of Konjyosom village in the southern part of Lalitpur.
