Prachanda abstains all-party meeting called by PM Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has decided not to attend the all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday.

Stating that a meeting has been called at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Prachanda has decided to abstain from today’s all-party meeting.

According to a standing committee member close to Prachanda, if the meeting is held at Singha Durbar, Prachanda will participate.

Oli called Chairman Prachanda and invited him to the meeting. Prachanda had gone to inaugurate the newly constructed building of Konjyosom village in the southern part of Lalitpur.

Prachanda had suggested the Prime Minister to convene a meeting at Singha Durbar instead of Baluwatar.
