Foreign interference increased after 2007: RPP Chair Thapa

HETAUDA: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa has claimed that the country has been a playground for foreign interests since the movement of 2006/07.

Speaking at a program organized by the party’s Hetauda Municipal Committee Wednesday, Chairman Thapa said the country’s independence had weakened due to foreign-backed agenda.

“Republic, secularism and federalism are the agenda burdened by foreigners,” Thapa said, adding, “It is unfortunate that political parties and leaders are used to serve the interests of foreigners.”

He reiterated the need to develop RPP as a party to rid the country of foreign agendas.
