KATHMANDU: The UN Resident Coordinator in Nepal, Sara Beysolow Nyanti on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa at the Army headquarters in Kathmandu.

The meeting between the duo focused on various subjects including the participation of Nepali Army in the UN, said the Directorate of Public Relations and Information, Nepali Army.

The Army has expressed the hope that the meeting would strengthen and make bilateral relations between the Nepali Army and the UN cordial.
