Nepal-Khanal faction organizing national conclave today

KATHMANDU: The Nepal-Khanal faction of the ruling CPN-UML is organizing its national cadres’ gathering in Kathmandu today.

The faction has claimed over 2,000 leaders and cadres will participate in the gathering to be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Publicity Department Chief of the faction, Yogesh Bhattarai on Tuesday alleged Chairman KP Oli of being arbitrary in running the party.

According to him, the central committee of the faction will submit a concept paper on the current interparty dispute and its possible ways out in the gathering.

The disgruntled faction has been alleging Chairman Oli of trying to push the party on the verge of conflict by nominating 23 former Maoist Center leaders including Home Minister Ram Bahaddur Thapa to the central committee of the CPN-UML.
