Govt appoints Motilal Dugad as Special Economic Adviser to Prime Minister



KATHMANDU: The government has decided to appoint former Minister of State Motilal Dugad as Special Economic Adviser to Prime Minister KP Oli.

Dugad, who was the Minister of State for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, was expelled in the last cabinet reshuffle.

Prime Minister Oli has appointed Dugad as Special Economic Adviser in place of former Finance Minister Dr Yuvaraj Khatiwada.

Dr Khatiwada has been appointed Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States.

As soon as he left for the United States, Dugad was made the special economic advisor by giving him the facility of a minister.
