Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 1,959 with five new fatalities

KATHMANDU: As many as five COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,959 as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 266 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,67,322 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,919 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 400 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,61,444 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
