KATHMANDU: Soon after being elected as the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC), Gagan Thapa said that he will put all his efforts to make the Nepali Congress a trustworthy party.
“I will endeavor to make the party trustworthy at a time when people have stopped trusting leaders and the parties,” he said at the party office, Sanepa, Thursday.
Thapa said that he would leave no stone unturned to work to strengthen the party and to make sure that the voters do not regret electing him to the post of General Secretary.
He also said that he would continue to raise fingers at party President Sher Bahadur Deuba with an aim to provide him the strength as well as pressure.
