We won’t sit for talks with CJ Rana until he resigns: Nepal Bar

Agitation to continue



KATHMANDU: General Secretary of Nepal Bar Association Leela Nath Paudel has said that Nepal Bar would not sit in the talks with Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.

Paudel said the demonstration will continue unless Chief Justice Rana steps down.

Issuing a statement on Monday Chief Justice Rana had urged the Nepal Bar and Supreme Bar to  come to talks with him.

In the meeting held on Monday, Nepal Bar had concluded that the resignation of the Chief Justice is the bottom line of their agitation.

Advocates have been staging demonstrations demanding resignation of Chief Justice Rana since October 31.
