Minister Shrestha directs for result-oriented works



KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Sashi Shrestha, has directed the officials of the National Land Commission to carry out works in a result-oriented manner.

At a program held at Commission’s office on its work plan, she suggested the Commission officials to complete the planned activities in time. The Commission could make plan and implement activities in an effective manner so that citizen’s right enshrined in the constitution would be guaranteed.

According to her, the rights of the landless people must be addressed soon. They must be guaranteed human rights, giving continuity to the positive works carried out earlier, she underscored.

On the occasion, Chairperson of National Commission, Keshav Niraula, and Vice Chairperson Nahendra Khadka vowed to accomplish the work plan in time. Also present at the program were Ministry Secretary Ganesh Pande, Director General at Survey Department, Prakash Joshi, and Commission officials.
