CIAA raids Narayani Hospital in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has raided Narayani Hospital, Birgunj on Monday morning.

According to CIAA sources, the Authority raided at the hospital’s pharmacy following the reports that more than 10 million rupees has been misappropriated by the hospital authority.

The hospital had started the pharmacy four years ago with a seed capital of Rs 2 million. At present, the pharmacy owes more than Rs 15.1 million to the suppliers whereas the value of all the medicine the pharmacy has it present hardly costs three million rupees.
