Biplav and JSP Chairman Dr Bhattarai hold talks



KATHMANDU: Netra Bikram Chand “Biplav”, General Secretary of the CPN and Janata Samajwadi Party’s federal Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai have discussed the current political developments on Friday morning.

Chand reached Dr Bhattarai’s residence and held talks on the current political scenario and the possible Left alliance, sources have said.

Biplav, who has expedited political meetings with various party leaders of late, met with Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” on Wednesday and senior CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday.

He has been active in releasing his leaders and cadres, who are behind bars, and withdrawing cases against them.
