JSP Chairman Thakur reshuffles Executive Committee

Adds 17 executive members close to him



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman Mahanta Thakur has nominated 17 people close to him in the executive committee.

At the meeting of JSP’s Thakur-Mahato faction which had earlier expelled Chairman Upendra Yadav and other leaders close to him had added 17 members in the third week of May.

According to the sources, among the added members 11 are close to Chairman Thakur and six close to Deputy Prime Minister Rajendra Mahato.

Irate at the Thakur faction’s reshuffle of the executive committee, Yadav called the party executive committee meeting on Wednesday.
