Former PM Khanal being flown to Delhi for further treatment



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior UML leader Jhala Nath Khanal is being taken to New Delhi, the capital city of India, for further treatment.

Khanal will be flown to New Delhi at 12:30 pm today, informed Khanal’s secretariat. He will be treated at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.

Khanal had been admitted to Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital after he suffered from fever and his level of hemoglobin decreased in his blood on Monday.

Earlier, he had been infected with COVID-19 and been discharged from Norvic Hospital after recovery.
