KMC directs schools to start new academic session from mid-June

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has said schools inside the metropolis ought to complete final examinations by June 3 to start new academic session in mid-June.

Issuing a notice Sunday, KMC directed in this regard.

The Education Unit of KMC directed schools inside the metropolis to conclude final examinations of the academic year 2020/21 by adopting suitable alternatives.

Schools can conduct exams either online, offline, by means of telephone or email, whatever is convenient.

The Education Unit has urged to conclude exams by June 3 and publish results by June 15 so that the new academic year can start from mid-June.

The notice stated that KMC would issue another notice soon with regard to the metropolis-level Grade VIII exam.
