JSP’s Chairmen duo Thakur and Yadav holding talks at Balkumari

KATHMANDU: Apparently at the verge of split on the dispute over whether to join Prime Minister KP Oli led government or oust him, the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairmen duo Mahantha Thakur and Upendra Yadav are holding talks to narrow down the differences.

According to sources, JSP chairmen Thakur and Yadav are holding a one-on-one dialogue at Balkumari based party office in Kathmandu on Sunday afternoon.

JSP’s Thakur-Mahato and Yadav-Bhattarai factions stood on two opposite poles regarding the formation of the government under CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli.

Earlier, Thakur faction announced Rajendra Mahato as the parliamentary party (PP) leader. Yadav faction refused to accept Mahato as the PP leader.
