FM Gyawali asks ambassadors to initiate efforts for international support against COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali has instructed Nepali ambassadors serving in different countries to make efforts to procure vaccines, medicines, and other health items against COVID-19.

Foreign Minister Gyawali in a virtual meeting with Nepali ambassadors of 13 countries instructed them to initiate efforts to procure vaccines, medical oxygen-related items, medicines, and other health items for Nepal.

He also instructed them to make maximum efforts to mobilize assistance from bilateral and multilateral levels as well as philanthropic organizations, private sectors, and Nepali expatriates in view of the crisis caused by the epidemic.
